Quick Start Guide

1. Installation & Account Setup

First, let's get the app installed and create your account.

  1. Install the App: Download and install the USave app from the Google Play Store.
  2. Create Your Account: Open the app and create an account using your email and a password, or sign in directly with your Google account.
  3. Allow Notifications: When prompted, allow the app to send you push notifications. This is how you'll know when a page has been successfully created.

2. Connect Your Notion Workspace

Next, you need to link your Notion account and select the databases you want to use.

  1. Link Notion Account: Follow the prompts in the app to link your Notion account. You will be redirected to Notion to authorize the connection.
  2. Grant Page Access: We suggest selecting all pages when granting access. You will still be able to choose specific databases within the USave app itself.
  3. Add Your Databases: Back in the app, navigate to the home screen and tap + Add Database. Select all the databases you wish to save content to.

3. Configure Your Settings

You can customize how content is saved to Notion.

  1. Navigate to the Setup tab.
  2. Configure your desired save behavior:
    • Include Page Content: Toggle this on if you want to add generated text (like a summary) to the body of the Notion page.
    • Search Web: Enable this if your requests require real-time information from the internet.
    • Upload Images: Turn this on if you want to use the image input feature.

4. Save Your First Page

Now you're ready to capture your first note!

  1. From the Home screen, find the database you want to save to.
  2. Tap the text input icon (Tt).
  3. Type your request. For example: summarize ww2.
  4. Once the task is complete, you will receive a push notification. You can tap it to navigate directly to the new page in Notion or view a log within the USave app.
