Widgets
Add dedicated USave widgets to your home screen for one-tap access to different capture modes.

Setting Up Widgets
- Add Widget to Home Screen: Long-press on your home screen and select Widgets.
- Find USave: Search for and select the
USavewidget from the list. - Place on Home Screen: Drag the widget to your desired location.
- Configure the Widget: Tap to configure:
- Choose the Notion database it should connect to
- Select the input type (Audio, Image, Text Form)
- Set the save options for that specific widget
- Save Settings: Confirm your configuration and you're ready to go!
Widget Types
Quick Capture Widget
A single-tap widget that opens USave with your pre-configured input method and database.
Best for: Frequent captures to the same database with the same input type.
Multi-Mode Widget
A larger widget with multiple buttons for different capture modes, all linked to the same database.
Best for: One primary database but varying input types.
Database Selector Widget
A widget that shows your favorite databases and opens a selection menu when tapped.
Best for: Switching between multiple databases frequently.
Widget Customization
Each widget can be customized to fit your workflow:
- Icon & Label: Choose from different icon styles and customize the label text.
- Size Options: Available in small (1x1), medium (2x1), and large (2x2) sizes.
- Theme: Light and dark theme options to match your home screen aesthetic.
- Default Settings: Pre-configure all capture settings so you can truly capture with one tap.

- Create a Capture Page: Dedicate an entire home screen page to USave widgets for different workflows.
- Work vs. Personal: Set up separate widgets for work and personal databases on different screens.
- Time-Based Workflows: Use widgets for morning journal, work notes, and evening reflections.
- Context-Specific Captures: Create widgets for specific contexts like meetings, reading, or shopping.
