USave

Include Page Content

Control whether USave adds generated content (like summaries, notes, or processed text) to the body of your Notion pages.

What Does This Setting Do?

When enabled, USave will add AI-generated or processed content directly into the body of the Notion page it creates. This includes:

  • Summaries of captured content
  • Transcriptions of audio recordings
  • Extracted text from images (OCR)
  • Formatted notes based on your input

How to Configure

  1. Open the USave app and navigate to the Setup tab.
  2. Find the Include Page Content toggle.
  3. Enable or disable based on your preference:
    • Enabled: Generated content will be added to the page body
    • Disabled: Only the page title and properties will be set

When to Enable

✅ Enable When:

  • • You want detailed summaries or transcriptions in your pages
  • • You're capturing research or reference material
  • • You prefer comprehensive notes over minimal entries
  • • You're building a knowledge base with rich content

❌ Disable When:

  • • You only want to capture metadata and links
  • • You prefer to add content manually later
  • • You're using USave primarily for quick bookmarking
  • • You want to minimize AI processing time

Tips

  • Per-Database Settings: You can configure this setting differently for each Notion database.
  • Widget Configuration: Each widget can have its own Include Page Content setting.
  • Processing Time: Enabling this may slightly increase processing time for longer content.
